Important Tips

1. Order a Home Inspection as soon as possible after your purchase offer is accepted. Your purchase offer will usually have a time frame in which to complete the inspection and if necessary to address any issues.
2. If the Home is Vacant, verify that all the utilities will be on during the inspection. This is necessary for me to properly evaluate the home.
3. Ensure that Crawl Space Access and storage/mechanical areas, attics etc. are unlocked and pets are controlled.

If convient, plan to accompany me during some or all of the inspection. My inspection should take about 2.5 - 3 hours (very large, older, poorly maintained homes may take longer.) This is an opportunity for you to acquire an understanding of the home's major systems, learn important tips, and to have a better understanding of the information in the report.
